Monday- first work day

Everyone was up and ready for the day by 7am today! Everyone just crashed lasted night.... We got into camp late so there was a lot of running around and catch up we Had to do but the Group Mission staff were very helpful in getting us all settled in. 

We had breakfast and gathered our tools for our work groups before heading to opening program to hear safety rules and pray for a good day. 

Zion is divided up into 8 different groups. Majority of us are exterior painting, while some are roofing or constructing ramps and porches. 

And now a word from our group 34 and group 35: 

Sam Nycklemoe- " highlight of my day was Pastor Mollie removing a deep splinter from my finger."

Nolan- " I loved hanging out with our residents and playing volleyball with them! "

Lauren- " I have loved the fun laughs on the car ride in to Pocahontas!"

Today 34 and 35 have been scraping old paint, caulking windows all getting ready to paint the exterior of the house starting tomorrow. 

We have had to fight off a few bee nests.... But all in all we got a great hard working couple groups!
